Housing Assistance for Portland Residents

1. Home Forward – Housing Choice Voucher & Property-Based Waitlists

  • Application Period: Open from April 15 at 9:00 a.m. to April 21 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Programs:
    • Housing Choice Voucher (HCV): Rent assistance for eligible households to afford market-rate rentals. Up to 3,000 applicants will be selected via a lottery.
    • Property-Based Waitlists: Applications are open for 13 Home Forward apartment communities.
  • Eligibility: Households earning less than 50% of the area median income.
